The retreat takes place each year at the famous GooglePlex in Mountain View, California. Typically, students apply to attend this important event, and only a handful of applicants are accepted. However, as a Google scholarship winner, you will be automatically invited to the GooglePlex retreat and all of your expenses will be paid, as a part of your Google college scholarship award.

Google Scholarships that are available include numerous Google Anita Borg Scholarship for the United States, the Middle East, Canada, Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe, the Google AISES Scholarship – in partnership with the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, the Google Europe Scholarship for Students with Disabilities, the Google Hispanic College Fund Scholarship, the Google Lime Scholarship for Students with Disabilities, the Google United Negro College Fund Scholarship, and the Google Zawadi Africa Scholarship. Bank America Scholarship

Despite all of the financial troubles that Americans and American banks have suffered recently, the Bank of America is still able to offer the Bank of America Joe Martin Scholarship Program. Joe Martin; a former excutive of BOA was the kind of character which they wanted associated with their bank because he devoted much of his time to improving the community in many various ways so BOA established this memorial scholarship program in his honor. This is an important scholarship program that makes it possible for students to attend college or trade schools, if they are dependants of employees or associates of the Bank of America.

In order to be eligible, the employee must have been employed by the Bank of America for at least one year. If you are a dependant of a past Bank of America employee, and that employee has died, retired, or become disabled, but was employed for at least a year with the bank, you are still eligible.

Of course, being a dependant of a Bank of America employee isn’t enough. This only makes you eligible to apply. The Bank America scholarship is awarded based on your academic achievements, your character, your leadership abilities, and contributions that you have made to your community and/or your school – and preferably both to your community and your school.

The BOA scholarships are awarded in varying amounts, from $1000 to $5000, and there is no indication as to how many awards are made each year. The scholarships are also renewable. This means that the Bank of America will continue to award the student for each year that the student is enrolled as a full-time student, for up to three additional years. The Bank of America Joe Martin Scholarship Program is only available to those students who are undergraduates.

The student must also be under the age of 23, be a high school senior or a graduate of a high school, and must either be enrolled or plan to be enrolled in an accredited two year or four year school. Those enrolled or planning to enroll in vocational or trade schools are also eligible. Once you are awarded the Bank of America Scholarship, you must maintain a satisfactory GPA and remain a full time student in order to renew the scholarship award each year.

When you apply for the Bank America Joe Martin Scholarship program you will need specific information, such as the hire date of the Bank of America employee, the work location, their employee number, and if they are retired, their social security number. You will need their email address, as well as your own. You must include a list of your work experience, your involvement in your school or your involvement in your community. You will of course need your transcript, and you must include a statement concerning your educational and career goals and objectives.

Additionally, you will be asked to include information pertaining to your family’s financial situation. You can omit this information, but if you do, you will only be eligible for a $1000 Bank of America scholarship. Pharmacy Scholarships

If you are planning to become a pharmacist, there are many great pharmacy scholarships for pharmacist school available for you, and you should take advantage of as many as you possibly can. In most cases, becoming a pharmacist takes six years of higher pharmacy school, and this can be extremely expensive. You need all of the financial aid that you can get – especially in the form of scholarships for pharmacy school that do not have to be repaid.

The first pharmacy school scholarship program that you need to look into is the program offered by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation, or NACDS. There are many different pharmacy scholarships offered through this program, including the main scholarship offered by the NACDS, the Robert J. Bolger Scholarship, the Taro Research Foundation Scholarship, the Edmond Fougera Scholarship, and the Leonard J. DeMino Pharmacy Student Scholarship.

The number of pharmacy scholarships available through this program varies each year, but the most recent number of awards made was 85. The foundation states that a minimum of 65 scholarships will be awarded each year, in the amount of $2000 each. Those who receive the named scholarships for pharmacy offered through the foundation will receive anywhere from $2000 to $5000.

To be eligible for any of these awards, you must be enrolled as a full time pharmacy student, working towards a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). You must have also completed at least one year of graduate school, at a school of pharmacy. You must have worked or have experience at a chain pharmacy, and intend to follow a career into chain pharmacy. You must carry at least a C GPA. If you have received a NACDS scholarship in the past, you may not reapply, but if you have applied before, and not received a pharmacy school scholarship, you may apply.

With your application, which can be submitted online, you must include a current resume or curriculum, a detailed cover letter, a letter of recommendation from a current or recent chain pharmacy employer, and a signed letter from an acceptable authority figure at your school verifying your GPA.

Another important pharmacy scholarship that you should apply for is the AphA Foundation Student Pharmacist Scholarships Program. This is offered by the American Pharmacists Association Foundation. Ten scholarships are offered each year, in the amount of $1000. There are also many named scholarships for pharmacy awarded through this organization, including the Mary Louise Andersen Scholarship, the Boyle Family Scholarship, the John A. Gans Scholarship, the Colonel Jerry W. Ross Scholarship, the Robert D. Gibson Scholarship, and many others.

Additionally, you need to take a look at the pharmacy college scholarships offered through the Student National Pharmaceutical Association. Again, there are numerous scholarships for pharmacy school available, and while many are only available to those who are entering or have already entered graduate school, in a pharmacy degree program, there are also scholarships in pharmacy available for those just starting their college careers, who are seeking a pharmacy degree as well. ACE Scholarships

Any help that you can receive to assist you in paying for your college education is very important, and all opportunities should be fully explored. When you are searching for unusual scholarships, you may see ACE Scholarships, and make the mistake of thinking that you’ve already applied, when in fact; there is more than one unique ACE Scholarship.

First there is the Alliance for Choice in Education. Based in Denver, Colorado, this organization offers an ACE scholarship program that is specifically for students in grades between Kindergarten and the twelfth grade. It exists for the purposes of helping families to pay for tuition at private schools, but is only available to those families that qualify for the federal free or reduced lunch program. The program only pays up to $2000 annually for the lower grades and up to $3000 annually for students in grades nine through twelve.

In order to be eligible for this particular ACE Scholarship, you must reside in Colorado, and attend a school in Colorado. Once these unique scholarships are awarded; it is renewed each year for up to four years, as long as you remain eligible. You must have a good academic standing in order to remain eligible and you must remain in a private school in Colorado, although you do have the freedom to change schools, as long as the new school is still a private school, and still in the state. Note that the award amount for this unusual scholarship is only meant to pay for approximately 50% of the tuition, which means that if the tuition is low, the award amount could be lower, as it will not exceed 50% of the cost of the tuition. Another of the ACE Scholarships that you should be aware of is the unusual college scholarships offered by the Ace Communications Group and Ace Link Telecommunications. This ACE scholarship is only available to high school seniors who have telephone service provided through Ace Link Telecommunications in their homes. Fifteen ACES scholarships are awarded each year, and they are non-renewable.

The award amount of each one of these ACE scholarships is $1000. Ace Link Telecommunications is available in Michigan, Iowa, and Minnesota. Aside from this unique eligibility rule, you must also be a graduating high school senior, and be enrolled or accepted to a college or university. If you or an immediate family member is an employee of Ace, you are not eligible.

Another unique thing about this particular scholarship is that although you must be a high school senior to apply, the award is actually not paid until you are starting your second year of college. It is paid during the first semester of the second year, and it will not be paid, regardless of winning it, if you have not maintained at least a 2.5GPA during your first year. In order for the award to be paid, winners must submit their college transcript reflecting that they have maintained an acceptable GPA, and they must also prove that they have registered in college for the second year of study. There is one more unusual scholarship that you will run into when searching for ACE Scholarships. This is the Access College Early Scholarship Program. This unique scholarship is made possible by the Nebraska Access College Early Scholarship Program Act of 2007. This unusual scholarship will pay the college tuition and mandatory fees for low income students who want to take dual college classes while they are still in high school. It will also be awarded to those low income students who have early enrollment agreements with a college. The student must either be eligible for other programs designed for low-income families, or the student’s family must have had a recent hardship that would make the student eligible for this ACE scholarship.

Dual enrollment means that the student is still in high school, but they are also enrolled in college courses. The college courses may be conducted at the high school, or at the college, but they typically take place during the regular school day, and most students in dual programs usually just take a couple of college courses, along with their regular high school courses. The student must have room in their schedule for these courses, in terms of credits needed to graduate from high school, because high school credits are not given for the college courses. John Carey Accounting Scholarship

The John L Carey accounting scholarship is available for graduate students who are enrolled in programs of study that will bring them into the accounting field. Established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1969, the CPA accounting scholarship was created in honor of John L Carey, who was instrumental in the success and continuity of the organization.

There are certain requirements that must be met in order to be eligible for the John Carey graduate accounting scholarships. They are only offered to graduate students who already hold degrees in liberal arts, or to students who have degrees in a non-business field. There is a great deal of competition for these accounting scholarships, as only ten are awarded each year.

While you will not be required to enter the field of accounting upon graduation, it is important to note that when the award winners are selected, that selection is based on the probability that you will become a CPA, and the eligibility requirements also require you to be enrolled in a graduate accounting program. Additionally, the graduate program that you are enrolling in must be accredited by ACBSP or AACSP International. If you have already started your graduate accounting program, you are not eligible for these accounting scholarships.

You must be pursuing CPA certification, be a full time graduate student, and a United States Citizen to be eligible. Eligible non-citizens can also apply. In order to be an eligible non-citizen of the United States, you must hold a green card. It is also vital that you understand that in order to be eligible for the John L Carey scholarships for accounting that you can not have completed more than twelve semester hours in accounting or business courses while obtaining your under graduate degree.

If you are awarded a coveted Carey scholarship, you will receive $5000, which will typically be sent directly to your school for disbursement. ALA Scholarship

If you are a graduate student, and pursuing a Master’s degree in library and information studies, you will want to apply for the American Library Association ALA Scholarship Program. Each year, there is approximately $300,000 available for the ALA scholarships that will be given to these graduate students.

The first thing that you need to know about the ALA library scholarship program, however is that it is only available to you if you meet all other requirements, and you are enrolled in an ALA-accredited master’s program. Typically, you will be eligible for the library scholarship if you are enrolled at an approved school working towards a Master of Library Science Degree, a Master of Arts Degree, a Master of Science Degree, a Master of Library and Information Studies Degree, or of course a Master of Librarianship Degree.

You can apply for the American Library Association ALA Scholarship Program at any time between October and March, and the deadline is March 1st. The application is submitted online, through the ALA website at www.ala.org. The application must be completed in full, including the personal statement.

You must also include three references and your official transcript from the school where you received your bachelor’s degree. Obviously, your transcript will have to be mailed, but it is important to realize that the ALA requires the school to mail your transcript to them, and it must have an official seal, and be in a sealed envelope – from the school.

The American Library Association ALA Scholarship Program does not just have one library scholarship. Leisner Scholarship, the Peter Lyman Memorial Scholarship, the Association for Library Service to Children Scholarship, the Bound to Stay Bound Books Scholarship, the Frederic Melcher Scholarship, the ASCLA Scholarship, the LITA Scholarship, the Christian Larew Memorial Scholarship, the LSSI Minority Scholarship, the OCLC Minority Scholarship, the Office of Diversity Scholarship, the Spectrum Scholarship, the FAFLRT Scholarship, and the ASCLA Century Scholarship.

Because you may meet the eligibility requirements for more than one library scholarship that is a part of the American Library Association ALA Scholarship Program, the application that you fill out on the ALA website allows you to check the librarian scholarships that you want to apply for, and then to do so with the one application process, instead of multiple application processes. Each of the scholarships for library available through the ALA has different requirements for eligibility, with all having the same requirement concerning the Master’s degree program.

NASA Scholarships

If you are currently enrolled in college, in an Aeronautical Engineering Program, or you soon intend to be, you should consider and research the Aeronautics NASA Scholarship Program to help pay for your education. Among all NASA scholarships that are awarded for specific fields of study, these types of NASA Aeronautics scholarships award the highest amount of funds to help pay for the expense of the education that you are receiving. They are the best scholarships in terms of monetary stipend.

Each year, the NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate awards Aeronautics NASA Scholarships to five graduate students, and 20 undergraduate students who are studying in the field of aeronautics or fields that relate to aeronautics. If you are an undergraduate in your second year of school, you can receive up to $15,000 for the next two years of your education, as well as an internship for the summer, which comes with a $10,000 NASA stipend.

Graduate students receive a $35,000 stipend, $11,000 for three years, and have the advantage of two summers of internship at NASA, with each internship period paying $10,000, for a total of $20,000. This means that in total, for undergraduate students, the total scholarship is approximately $40,000, and for graduate students, the total NASA scholarship award is approximately $88,000. These funds can be used for any expenses related to your education.

If you are not currently enrolled in an aeronautics program of study, you can still apply for these aeronautical scholarships. If you win a aeronautics scholarship, you must be admitted to an approved field of study by the fall after you win the award. You must also be attending a school accredited in the United States and be a citizen of the United States. The student must also show that there is a financial need in order to be considered, and must continue to prove this need each semester. You must also take the GRE exam, and have your scores submitted with your application.

Fields of study that are approved for the Aeronautics NASA Scholarships include electrical, energy and electronic fields, Aeronautical and Aerospace fields, and Engineering fields that include chemical engineering, computer engineering, civil engineering, materials engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, engineering science, and engineering mechanics, and studies in the fields of metallurgical and polymer. Computer science and physics under the mathematics field will also be considered.

A student who wins this award can opt not to participate in the summer internships if they so choose, however, if this is the choice that they make, they will not be eligible for the $10,000 stipend for those internships. Applications must be received between September and January, and awards are announced in April for the following fall semester, and all applications must be submitted online – hard copies are not accepted.

Aeronautics is a very exciting and lucrative field, but the cost of the education required for this field is very expensive. You should definitely apply for the Aeronautics NASA Scholarship as well as any other college scholarships that you are eligible for to help with these costs. Of course, the added opportunity to work for NASA at the NASA Center is also something to consider and is a ‘one of a kind’ experience that cannot be duplicated anywhere else.
