The department provides the funds to the State Education Agencies (SEA) to be distributed amongst various applicants annually. The estimated program funding for 2009 is to be more than $40 million for more than 27,000 applicants to help pay for college expenses. Because of the sheer size of the Byrd Scholarship Program, students stand a decent chance of realizing one. If you fall into the Byrd Honors Scholarship criteria then apply without hesitation.

The US Department of Education (www.ed.gov) was created in 1980 with a mission to promote achievements and excellence in education and to prepare the US scholars for global exposure & competitiveness by ensuring equal access to education for all. The department is responsible for preparing the policies for federal financial aid for education, distributing and monitoring those funds. The department has annual budget of more than $64 billion for the year 2009 and provides educational loans and grants to more than 13 million students across the US. The Robert Byrd Scholarship was established in 1985 and is funded by the US Congress which has been providing financial assistance to the deserving candidates annually. The Robert C Byrd Honors Scholarship Program was the first merit-based scholarship of the US and was named after the US Senator Robert Byrd as a scholarship memorial.

Any full-time high school graduate accepted for enrollment at institutes of higher education (IHE) and with outstanding academic merit (various criteria) can apply for the Byrd Honors Scholarship program to the SEA at the state of residence. Even home schooled students are eligible at some SEAs. The entire application package with the details about the application process is available from the SEA only. The deadlines for the application processes are managed by the SEA individually. The scholarships are allocated by the counties of each state. There are various conditions including students attending military academy are not eligible and they are to be adhered to. Financial need is not considered as a selection condition. As the states are allowed to define their own selection criteria each state has its own application criteria. The average Robert Byrd Scholarship amount is $1,500 per applicant per year and is renewable for up to four years based on the academic progress. The amount totally depends upon the state, based on the annual funding done. The SEAs have to renew their participation for the award annually as well.

With the distribution ratio of 99% for the funds allocated annually for education every year, the Department of Education is committed to sponsor the education for each and every American citizen. As their mission clearly specifies the Department needs to provide access to all levels of education to everyone. One such initiative is the Robert Byrd Scholarship Program that rewards the merit of the students to motivate them for further success. Army ROTC Scholarship

The Army ROTC Scholarship (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Scholarship) Program offered by the US Army, provides an excellent opportunity for bright students to attend one of the best leadership courses – the ROTC Program in the United States. The merit based eligible students can finance their college education while simultaneously working toward their commission as an Army officer. Four-, three-, and two-year ROTC scholarships are available to qualified students. High school seniors may be awarded either a four- or three-year advanced designee scholarship. College freshmen and sophomores can apply for either a three- or two-year Army ROTC scholarship respectively.

The United States Army offers the ROTC scholarships at nearly 600 colleges and universities that have or are affiliated with ROTC programs. In exchange for the full tuition, books and monthly stipend, cadets commit to serving either 4 years on active duty or 8 years part-time in the reserve or National Guard forces of the Army. The scholarship is provided based on the merit and not the financial need. The scholarships granted by Army ROTC are a great way for students to achieve academic success without dealing with much of the stress that college life entails. Scholarship cadets are able to attend college for little or no cost and at the same time benefit from the training and experience that ROTC programs provide.

The Army ROTC scholarship entitles its recipients to full-tuition assistance, as well as a textbook/fee allowance and a monthly stipend to cover the student’s living expenses. The ROTC scholarship amount varies but can go up to $18,000 per year. The amount that cadets on ROTC scholarships receive for their monthly stipend depends on their year in school, as shown below:
• Year 1: $300/month
• Year 2: $350/month
• Year 3: $450/month
• Year 4: $500/month
Being merit a based scholarship, the application criteria is stringent as it includes high SAT or ACT scores and requirements to meet physical standards. Regular participation in the ROTC activities is essential as well. There are many more such criteria that can be checked at. The Army ROTC scholarship application needs to be done online between March and November every year.

When cadets complete the ROTC course, upon graduation, they become commissioned officers in the U.S. Army. Serving US Army after the course completion is mandatory. However the option is really worthy due to the fact that the average salary of Signal Corps officer 15% better than that of a Telecommunication Engineer.

The purpose of ROTC is to groom Young Professionals to serve the military and hence the ROTC Scholarship Program for each branch – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Cost Guard. Serving in Army is one of the most challenging and interesting jobs. Even a short career teaches discipline, values, ethics and above all leadership – to stand out amongst others. Unmatched opportunity to work and lead big teams in a crisis situation and handle millions of dollars of equipments is provided to the recipients. US Army – one of the largest Army with more than 6 million soldiers provides such an opportunity through the “Army ROTC Scholarship”.

HRSA Scholarships

The HRSA Scholarship for the Disadvantaged Students (SDS) program, launched under the Disadvantage Minority Health Improvement Act is solely to ensure that necessary financial assistance is provided disadvantaged professionals undergoing studies in health and nursing programs. The HRSA Scholarship Program is monitored by the US Department of Health and Human services and has the major objective to make the health and medical studies accessible to disadvantaged students especially the URM (unrepresented minorities). In the year 2008 the total amount distributed for the scholarships for the disadvantaged students (SDS) was nearly $46 million reaching more than 15,000 students. The annual budget focuses on funding health professionals in the region of the country with a shortage in workforce.

The Health Resources and Service Administration, an agency of the US Department of Health and Human services primary responsibility is providing access to health care especially to those communities that need them the most. The organization tackles the challenges related to shortages of and health professionals as well as necessary health infrastructure in the low-income, rural and urban communities. The disadvantaged section of the society would mean – the section with annual income below the limit set under the US Bureau of Census and where the environment provides limited or no opportunity for growth. The individuals are hampered to obtain the skill, knowledge and abilities required to achieve success. The HRSA Scholarship, through the SDS Program, ensures that such disadvantaged communities can access the health education, enroll in and graduate from health professions school and add to the diversity in the health profession as doctors, nurses and others.

The scholarship for disadvantaged students (SDS) program is open for the lawful permanent citizen or resident of the US that belongs to the disadvantaged section. The application for the HRSA scholarship program needs to done online. The funds under this scholarship are awarded to the accredited schools and hence the schools are responsible for selecting the recipients annually. The selection is based on the need and the background verification, and the scholarship amount distributed to individuals would be limited to the total cost of attendance for the program – including tuition fees, educational expenses and living expenses. Hence, for each program at various health education institutes the scholarship for the disadvantaged students (SDS) amount does vary.

A healthy workforce would ensure consistent and sustained growth – the US Department of Health and Human services understands this and hence through the HRSA Scholarship it improves the access to health care services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable. The HRSA with annual budget of $7.2 billion for the year 2009 is responsible for this through providing health care facilities, research, maternal & child care & a better health care system. One amongst such initiative is the support provided to the Health professionals by HRSA. The Scholarships for the disadvantaged students (SDS) program serves more than 10,000 health professionals annually ensuring a healthier workforce as well as providing strong healthcare in areas where it may need most.

Barry Goldwater Scholarship

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship Program supports college juniors and seniors to pursue a career in mathematics, natural sciences and engineering. The program recognizes scholars – applicants that are nominated by the college or university officially – and rewards them for the excellence achieved. The objective is to get highly qualified mathematicians, scientists and engineers in the respective field of study. The awards are categorized into two groups – college juniors and college seniors and each institute can nominate two (2) students for 2 year course and four (4) students for 4 year course.

The Barry M Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program was authorized by the US Congress in 1986 as a tribute to Senator Barry M Goldwater. The foundation is supported by the memorial scholarship fund which is established in the Treasury of the United States. All the funding for the annual awards is derived from this Trust fund.

The candidates are nominated only by the college or university and the nomination is done by the faculty representative chosen by the institute and the Foundation. Annually the foundation invites eligible accredited US institutions to nominate candidates for the two groups – Two current sophomores for the two year courses and four current sophomores or juniors for the four year degree.

The Goldwater scholarship application is done electronically online and is open from September and can be done from the foundation’s website. The entire process consists of two steps involving institute nomination and nominee application. Keep in mind that if the first step of institutional nomination is not done the application is not even considered. Once the application is submitted supporting documents are to be mailed to the Foundation as well.

Each Goldwater scholarship covers educational expenses up to $7,500 annually and each year the foundation awards 300 such scholarships. Each state in the US is awarded certain Goldwater scholarships based on the number and qualification of application from the 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and, considered as a single entity, Guam, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

The deadline for submission of the application by the Faculty representative is January 29 and the deadline for providing all the necessary documentation to support the application is February 01. The selection process of the Goldwater scholarships involves Initial evaluation done by independent review committee – appointed by the Foundation and this committee recommends the most outstanding nominees from each state. Final selection is done by the Board of Trustees and the same is informed to the institute and the scholar by March.

Mathematics, Science and Engineering – the three areas that have impacted human life the most and will do so in the future as well is fully supported through the Barry Goldwater Scholarship Program. This ensures that regular study and research is continued in these areas and thus the Barry Goldwater Scholarship was introduced. The scholars have won various other awards including Marshall Awards and many more. The Goldwater scholarship has not only rewarded outstanding scholars that have made their mark in the respective field of study but also motivated various others to select these areas for research and development.

NWLB (No Worker Left Behind) in Michigan are Easy Scholarships

Fast and easy scholarships to pay for your college tuition by the NWLB-No Michigan Worker Left Behind will pay for your college for two years. NWLB Michigan.

NWLB Michigan
NWLB Michigan

Here’s a different twist on finding fast and easy scholarships to pay for your college tuition. If you default into this *NWLB – No Michigan Worker Left Behind criteria then it will pay for your college for two years. You won’t have to do anything but apply for the *NWLB Michigan program and your tuition is covered. Now that’s a simple scholarship to get. Here’s how it works.

If you live in Michigan, and you are unemployed or about to be laid off, you may be eligible to obtain an education courtesy of the *NWLB (No Worker Left Behind) Michigan Program. The purpose of this program is not only to educate Michigan residents, but to educate those residents in a way that prepares them for emerging knowledge-based job opportunities in the state of Michigan.

While the initial goal of the NWLB (No Worker Left Behind) Michigan Program was to help 100,000 workers to obtain the skills that they needed to get back to work, or to start work in a more advanced industry, the program has been successful – to the point where more than 80,000 residents have participated, that the program will far exceed that goal.

If you are eligible for the program, you will receive $5000 each year for your education, for two years. The total amount cannot exceed $10,000, and you must finish your educational program within four years. Only certain programs are approved for the easy scholarship tuition program, and some examples of these programs include biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, health care, and renewable energy.

In order to be eligible for the program, you must be unemployed, have received notice that you will be terminated or laid off. If you are working, you must not have a total annual family income of more than $40,000. In either instance, you must be eighteen years of age or older, and if you are between the ages of eighteen and twenty-three, you cannot have been a high school graduate within the past two years. You cannot currently be a full-time college student.

There are, of course, additional requirements for the NWLB (No (Michigan) Worker Left Behind) program. You must attend a school in Michigan, and this school must be an approved training program, or a Michigan University or community college. You must also take a skill assessment through a Michigan Works Agency. Obviously, you must be a resident of Michigan. All simple criteria for fast & easy scholarships for Michigan students.

In order to apply for this tuition program, you must visit your local Michigan Works Agency (MWA). Each agency will differ in terms of how the application process is carried out, and the amount of time that it takes to get a decision. Because of the overwhelming popularity of the program, there is a backlog, so make sure that you apply as soon as possible to take advantage of this short-term opportunity.

If you are concerned about the degree programs that will be approved for the tuition program, you can be certain that there are a wide range of programs that qualify. For example, all of the degree and certificate programs offered at Walsh College in Michigan qualify for the program.

Before you visit the Michigan Works Agency to apply for the program, you should visit the college that you will be attending, in Michigan, to talk to a student counselor and determine which degree or certificate program will work best for you so you can land one of these easy scholarships. However, again, you will have to take a skill assessment test through the MWA as well.

It is important to understand that when the NWLB Michigan (No Worker Left Behind) Program was established that it was set for a three-year period, beginning in August of 2007. This means that unless the program is renewed, August of 2010 will be your last opportunity to take advantage of this free tuition opportunity. Chances are it will continue with the current (2009) state of the Michigan economy. If you fit the above criteria and college is in your future plans then this is one of the easiest scholarships you will find today.

*The NWLB program has been discontinued effective 1/1/12.

James Hoffa Memorial Scholarship by the Teamsters

James Hoffa Scholarship was established as a memorial in honor of James R Hoffa who was the Teamsters president for (14) years. A Teamsters union scholarship.

James Hoffa Memorial Scholarship
James Hoffa Memorial Scholarship

If one of your parents is a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union, you may be eligible for the James Hoffa Scholarship. However, there are other requirements that must also be met, and even if you meet those requirements, you may still not be selected for this Hoffa Memorial scholarship, as there is stiff competition. This doesn’t, however mean that you shouldn’t apply if you are eligible. November through March 31st are when you can apply.

The Hoffa scholarship was established as a memorial in honor of James R Hoffa who was the Teamsters president for fourteen years. He began his Teamsters service in 1934 and was highly regarded in the Teamsters union as an acomplished leader who was known for his skillfull ability to carry out the Teamsters agenda.

The James Hoffa Scholarship has been available to the children of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters union members since 1999. While the number of scholarships available each year varies, the average number available is about 100, and the applicants must live in one of the five regions where the union is located. Scholarship amounts total $10,000 or $1000. The $10,000 scholarship is paid out at $2500 per year, for four years, and the funds are paid directly to the college or university.

The requirements for the James Hoffa Memorial Scholarship sound simple enough – you must have a parent who is a member of the union, you must be in the top fifteen percent of your class, you must have great SAT or ACT scores, and you must have a financial need. However, there are other considerations that the committee that chooses the winners takes into account, such as the students overall character.

Students who win this Teamsters scholarship must attend a four year school in the United States or Canada, and the school must be accredited. The student may not attend a school that does not charge tuition. Military academies often do not charge any tuition. It is also important to note that if you win a $10,000 scholarship from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the scholarship will only be paid out annually if you meet ongoing criteria.

You must either meet the academic requirements of your school for Teamster scholarship winners, or maintain a 3.00 grade average to continue receiving the Hoffa scholarship funds. Furthermore, if your qualifying parent leaves the union, or fails to pay their union dues while you are still attending school, you will forfeit the Hoffa Memorial Scholarship. These things are verified each year during the four year period.

If you win the James Hoffa scholarship, and you are then unable to attend school, you must have certification from a doctor, and your Teamsters scholarship will be held for you – but not for more than a year. The only exception to this is if you are serving in the military, and you are unable to attend school due to your military obligations. In this case, the scholarship will be held for up to two years, unless there is war, in which case the union scholarship will be held for the winner serving his or her country for a longer period of time.

Although the competition for the James Hoffa Memorial Scholarship is stiff, if you meet the eligibility requirements, you should definitely apply. The application process is the same for both Teamsters scholarship awards – $10,000 and $1000 – and as you know, when it comes to paying for your education, or your child’s education, every little bit helps.

Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program HPSP

The Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship HPSP for a career in the US Military. Army, Navy, and Air Force all have health professions scholarship programs.

HPSP Scholarships
HPSP Scholarships

If you are interested in entering the medical field in any capacity, you might want to know more about the armed forces health professions scholarship that will also net you a career in the United States Military. The Army, Navy, and Air Force all have health professions scholarship programs, referred to as HPSP, or AFHPSP scholarship for the Air Force, to help you pay for your education in a medical field.

With the armed forces Health Professions Scholarship Program, you will join the service of your choice and you will enter that service as an inactive reservist. At that point, you will attend school to work towards your health care degree. While you are in school, you will be required to serve for forty five days each year. This requirement can be satisfied with weekends and holidays, so that it does not interfere with your education. For each of these forty five days, you will be considered active military, and you will receive pay and all other benefits afforded to military personnel for active duty. If you are required to serve the 45 days consecutively, this can be achieved during the summer months – between semesters. During the first two years of your education, this time will be spent in officers training, in most cases. For the last two years, this time will be spent at a military hospital.

When you are selected for the armed forces Health Professions Scholarship Program, you enter the military as a Second Lieutenant in either the Army Reserve or the Air Force Reserve, or an Ensign in the Navy Reserve. You must also meet certain qualifications to be selected for the program. You must be a United States Citizen and suitable for military duty, and you must meet certain academic qualifications as well.

Different branches of service offer different armed forces health professions scholarships for this program. Note that all HPSP scholarships are post graduate scholarships – for medical school – and they do not offer health professions scholarships for under graduate programs, although there are other military programs designed to pay for under graduate educations. Health professions scholarships available through the Air Force can cover three or four years of school. The Army health professions scholarships can provide funds for one to four years of college. If you are a winner of one of these scholarships, all financial expenses for your education will be met for the length of your scholarship. This includes tuition and fees, books, and equipment, and also includes a monthly stipend as well.

Once you have graduated from your health care program, you will be expected to serve in the military. In most cases, when you agree to use the HPSP scholarship, you are agreeing that you will exchange one year of military service for each year that your education was paid for. The service that you are required to give while in school does not count towards this obligation. You do, however, get a promotion in the military when you graduate from college, if you were awarded the Health Professions Scholarship. If you are in the Army or Air Force, you will be promoted to Captain. If you are in the Navy, you will be promoted to Lieutenant. At that time, you will be moved to active status, and you will complete the required residency through the military – which pays a great deal more than residency programs outside of the military.

With economic forces being uncertain today, think outside the box for a solid and dependable career in the armed forces. It’s not for everyone, but for some it’s a perfect fit. You may discover it could be the best educational move for you at this time. The armed forces have educational packages which are second to none – if this is the field of study you are interested in. Many armed forces scholarship packages cover all expenses which are sometimes irresistible to pass up. An armed forces health professions scholarship program can be your first step.

Linda Lael Miller Scholarships
Linda Lael Miller Scholarships

The Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Females are caring essay scholarships. They come from someone who really does care about females who find it hard to move up in life. These essay scholarships for females are one way Linda Lael Miller feels she can help them. Linda Lael Miller is a famous writer who has written many novels whom tends to favor older Western stories. She has penned (80) books and has received many awards for them. She was a struggling mother and clearly understands how tough it can be for females to improve themselves, especially educationally. She believes that if you “educate a woman, countless generations to come will benefit from the investment”. You can’t argue with this theory.

Her Miller Scholarship is for women 25 or older, who just can’t seem to find other ways to finance a higher education. The really nice thing about the Miller scholarships are you can use the money for just about any expense related to college, not just room & board. You must be a legal citizen of the US or Canada to apply & the deadline for all applications is September 1st. Winners are decided by December 15th. The female scholarships that will be paid out in 2009 will total $10,000 combined and the number of them is decided by the Linda Lael Miller scholarship board.

These Linda Lael Miller females scholarships are sort of like an essay scholarship contest. To apply to the Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for females you must complete their application & write a (500) word essay; putting in words your feelings on, exactly why you are applying for the Linda Lael Miller Scholarship, precisely how you would use the funds if you won, how reaching your educational objectives will improve your future, and the dollar amount you would like to receive from the Linda Lael Miller scholarship for females. This all sounds easy enough to do. The essay you write for this female scholarship will be given the most weight in deciding wether you win or not, so make sure it’s clear and easy reading. Keep in mind Linda is a famous writer and your essay will most likely be your best friend in deciding on you as one of the winners of her scholarship. I’m sure the other factors of what the Miller Scholarship committee are looking for will be what’s included on your application as well.

Since the main reason Linda Lael Miller set up her females scholarships was to help women climb to a higher level in life, winners will have to reflect a need to be helped. These truly are female scholarships coming from someone who really cares about helping someone that may not been able to acquire assistance from other sources in furthering their own education & life. It’s refreshing to know there are still good hearted people in today’s world like Linda Lael Miller and her scholarships for females. This tells a lot of what kind of person she really is.

Toshiba Exploravision

The Toshiba ExploraVision Scholarship Awards from NSTA have been around for nearly (2) decades and are not showing any signs of decline or interest. To the contrary the ExploraVision program is becoming more popular and respected because it’s one fun scholarship to participate in & try and win. And if you don’t win, the experience in itself is the real prize.

[ad]

The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) manages these awards which were created in 1992. Since that time almost a quarter of a million students have competed in quest of the savings bonds worth $5,000 and $10,000 dollars. More importantly the students are enthusiastic about participating in a program that allows them to be innovative with the opportunity to contribute. Not only do the winning teams receive savings bonds but they also receive great Toshiba products as well.

There is actually more than one Toshiba Scholarship & grants to choose from. Toshiba contributes a ton of money around the globe in different countries geared towards encouraging and funding educational programs and scholarships. Toshiba is committed to establishing opportunities for students who display exceptional educational pursuit in various fields geared at improving society. Toshiba is very focused on students in K-12 and trying to prepare them for innovative positions in science, math or technology fields when they enter college.

In reference to the Toshiba ExploraVision scholarship program the participants are encouraged to decide upon a technology that is utilized in the present and then attempt to explain what that same technology might resemble (2) decades down the road. In this competition students join with teachers and mentors on a journey of exploration into science and technology. Each team has the opportunity to define their vision for the future. It is a challenging and rewarding experience for all involved.

The teams competing in Toshiba ExploraVision are typically in groups of 2, 3 or 4. The whole purpose is to offer the reality of a research and development team experience. A teacher serves as a coach for each team. That coach is responsible for assembling the entry paperwork with their team and then submitting that paperwork to the NSTA. It all begins when each team chooses a technology that exists in their lives. Before each team presents their vision for this technology in the future they must first explain how it works and then present why, how and when it was invented. At this point they can then present their vision of the technology in the future. Each team must prepare a complete and accurate report of their entire report and vision.

[ad]

This Toshiba ExploraVision Awards presents (4) teams with a $10,000 first prize savings bond. They also award (4) runner up teams with $5,000 savings bonds. In addition, all winning teams receive an expense paid trip to the nations capitol in June with their parents to participate in the awards ceremony. Each winning student also receives a Toshiba product. Those (500) who were chosen as Honorable Mention will also receive a unique and special gift from Toshiba. Every team that enters will win an entry gift. Teachers and mentors also receive gifts and each school from the winning teams will receive a Toshiba laptop. All of this makes this Toshiba ExploraVision scholarship extremely popular with students interested in science as a career.

The Stephen Phillips Scholarship
The Stephen Phillips Scholarship

The Steven Phillips Scholarship was created in the memory of; you guessed it, Steven Phillips. Steven Phillips descended from a ‘well to do’ Salem, Massachusetts’s family that shared a respected interest in politics and education. Steven Phillips was a very compassionate man who took an honest interest in all whom he meant. His widow Bessie Wright Phillips established the Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship in his memory.

The whole purpose of the Stephen Phillips Scholarship was to assist those students attending college that were in danger of being overcome with financial woes. Typically this scholarship gives away anywhere from $3000 to $10,000 annually. The great part is this award can be renewed. As long as the student maintains a 2.5 GPA and their financial situation do not sway drastically they can receive the award through four undergraduate years. The money does have to be paid directly to the school and be applied only towards tuition. As long as the student is a high school senior preparing to enter college or a returning university student at a U.S. accredited institution than they are eligible. These awards are only used for undergraduate study.

In addition, only students that are permanent residents of Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine and Connecticut may apply for the Phillips Memorial Scholarship. They can be attending any accredited school in the country but they must be permanent residents of New England. The only downside is that preference will be shown to students from the Salem or North Boston area. However, all others eligible are encouraged to apply and are always considered for a Phillips Scholarship.

The criterion to apply for the Steven Phillips Scholarship is quite common. You must be a U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien. Must be a permanent resident of New England. You should also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher when you apply. Your course of study should be demanding and you should present skilled writing ability. Character is also important in the decision making process. The applicant should have a positive view and desire to enhance society. Student should be involved in school, work and community activities. The student should be a goal setter that knows what they want and how they intend to get there.

A student that is willing to work part-time to assist with their college expenses will be well perceived. Students must present financial need due to heavy student loans or other special financial situations. They should have a low EFC or expected family contribution listed on their financial aid report.

The deadline date for the Phillips Scholarship is April 1st. This year there were 145 recipients. A total of 390 scholarships were renewed. For those who missed entry this year they are encouraged to apply before April 1st for the next round of awards. These $3000 to $10,000 scholarships can be yours if you are a U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien, are a permanent resident of New England, have financial need and carry a 3.0 GPA or better. If you have great character and undeniable drive and determination you could be the next Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship recipient.
