This fraternity offers several brotherhood scholarships in the area of music. The awards range from $400 to $7,000. The dollar amount depends on several factors including the major, the music instrument, and the program that a person enrolls in.

Triangle Fraternity Scholarships

One of the very unique fraternities is Triangle as they don’t use the Greek system. This fraternity is focused on the areas of scientific studies, architecture, and engineering. They offer several annual scholarships for members only. The amount of the Frat scholarships depends on financial need and the funding for the program so it can vary every year.

Alpha Mu Tau Frat Scholarships for College

These fraternity scholarships are for those that are enrolled in a clinical laboratory science undergraduate or graduate program. They partner with the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science to be able to offer the funds. The awards are at least $1,000 for part-time winners and up to $3,000 for full-time winners.

Alpha Chi Rho Brotherhood Scholarships

This fraternity has several Frat scholarships that they offer annually. They range from $500 to $4,000. The higher awards are for those brothers that demonstrate the highs academic scores and that are about to enter into a graduate program.

Phi Gamma Delta Organization Scholarships

They offer numerous scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each for those that are members of the fraternity and also show leadership. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and they must have a financial need.

Phi Kappa Alpha Club Scholarships

This fraternity collaborates with the Pike Endowment Fund. The money that is collected can then be dispersed in various club scholarships. The amounts vary based on financial need, subject major, and location. Those interested in applying are encouraged to contact their local Pike Foundation.

Alpha Gamma Omega

For soon to be freshmen entering an undergraduate program at the University of California – Santa Barbara there are brotherhood scholarships offered through this fraternity. They vary in award amounts from $100 to $150. Along with the application is a required essay on a given topic. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Alpha Phi Alpha

If you are a member of this fraternity, you should contact the person in charge of your local chapter. They often have a variety of great Frat scholarships and the award amounts vary. Many of them are based on GPA of 3.0 or higher as well as established financial need. The Beta Lambda Chapter is an extension of this fraternity, and they have $1,000 frat
society scholarships that they offer to high school students that will be going to college so you can check with your high school counselor about that too.

Delta Tau Delta

This fraternity offers a $500 scholarship to 5 individuals that can be used for buying books. It is through the Committed to Lives of Excellence Scholarship. They do have some other fellowship scholarships that are offered so you may wish to look into what they offer. The amounts are less than $500 but every single dollar adds up when you are trying to pay for college.

 

Alpha Epsilon Phi

This is a Jewish based fraternity and they offer kinship scholarships for a couple of great programs. This includes The Dunn Scholarship and The Jacob and Vickie Karno Scholarship Fund. These are both financial based source of scholarships for fraternity students with winners being able to get up to $1,000 to use for a ministry graduate program or for the first year of law school.

Prospective students should be aware that no athletic scholarships are offered at this university due to the fact that all of the athletic programs at Washington University are in the NCAA Division III, which does not allow athletic-specific scholarships to be awarded. All Academic Scholarship and Fellowship Programs at Washington University are offered solely on academic achievement.

There are five undergraduate divisions at Washington University. They are the College of Architecture, the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Art, the School of Engineering & Applied Science and Olin Business School. Scholarship awards offered through these divisions range from annual awards of $3,000 to half-tuition scholarships up to full tuition scholarships worth $42,500 per academic year, along with annual stipends. Applicants should be aware that each fellowship or scholarship has a slightly different procedure for applying. All application materials must be received by no later than January 15th.

The Arthur Holly Compton Fellowship Program is offered through the College of Arts & Sciences as part of their Honorary Scholars Program. This award program is worth up to four full-tuition fellowships along with a $1,000 stipend in mathematics and physical sciences.

The college also administers the George E. Mylonas Scholarship program, which includes up to four full-tuition scholarships with a $1,000 stipend in humanities.

The Florence Moog Fellowship program awards up to four full-tuition fellowships with a $1,000 stipend in chemistry and biological sciences.

The Arnold J. Lien Scholarship Program awards up to four full-tuition scholarships with a $1,000 stipend in social sciences.

The Liselotte Dieckmann scholarship grant program awards up to 16 half-tuition scholarships in the College of Arts & Sciences. Recipients for this scholarship are chosen from the Compton, Moog, Mylonas and Lien scholarship applicant pool. No separate application is required.

The Howard Nemerov Writing Scholarship program awards up to ten $3,000 scholarships. The J. Stephen Fossett Pathfinder Fellowship awards up to one full-tuition fellowship with a research stipend.

There are also Washington University scholarships and grants awarded in the College of Architecture, such as the James W. Fitzgibbon Scholarship. One full tuition scholarships, plus a $1,000 stipend is awarded. There are also five $6,000 scholarships awarded in this college.

The College of Art at Washington University also awards several grants scholarships. Among those are the Conway/Proetz Scholarships. One full tuition scholarship is awarded, plus five $6,000 scholarships. Applicants to the College of Art who submit portfolios will be automatically considered for these scholarships.

The Olin Business School offers Dean’s Scholarships in Business. At least one full tuition scholarship is offered as well as five partial tuition scholarships grants.

The School of Engineering & Applied Science offers the Alexander S. Langsdorf Fellowship. Up to four full tuition fellowships are available through this program.

The Calvin M. Woodward Fellowship offers up to eight partial tuition fellowships with a value of up to half-tuition for each fellowship. No application is necessary for these fellowships. Students will be selected from the Langsdorf fellowship applicant pool.

The James M. McKelvey Undergraduate Research Award provides for up to eight $5,000 research awards.

The Summer Scholars Program in Biology and Bio-medical Research provides for up to twenty scholars to receive travel expenses within the United States as well as living expenses for a 7-week on-campus stay during the summer prior to their freshman year.

Other Washington University scholarships and grants include the Entrepreneurial Scholars Program, which offers up to eight $3,000 scholarships.

There is also the John B. Ervin Scholars program. This program offers multiple partial-tuition scholarships as well as multiple full-tuition scholarships that also include $2,500 stipends.

The Annika Rodriguez Scholars Program provides for multiple partial-tuition scholarships and multiple full-tuition scholarships with $2,500 stipends. These Washington University scholarships are university-wide scholarships and applicants may apply for as many as they wish.

With such a wide variety of scholarships and grants from Washington University, it is well worth the time spent applying to them – especially since most they offer do not take a family’s financial circumstances into consideration.

University of Iowa Scholarships Grants

These grants and scholarships are awarded to outstanding students on the basis of academic merit, financial need or both. Unlike some scholarship grant programs, students may receive multiple scholarships through this program. Students who receive a University of Iowa scholarship will not be disqualified if they also receive additional need-based loans or grants.

The University of Iowa campus is located near the beautiful downtown area of Iowa City, which is known for being student-oriented and pedestrian-friendly. The school offers a variety of sports, social events and lovely scenery. Students attending the school can enjoy concerts, live theater, guest lectures, museums, art exhibits and bookstores; all without the need to ever leave campus. The school also offers easy access to a variety of activities. Kinnick Stadium is only three blocks away and the Iowa River is located one block from the school. There are approximately 500 student organizations present on campus at the University of Iowa. For those students who are looking for more low-key activities, options include taking a relaxing walk along the scenic banks of the Iowa River or kayaking on Lake Macbride. The Iowa River Trail is also excellent for those who enjoy cycling.

Among the University of Iowa scholarships grants available are scholarships for first-year students, those students who are entering the university directly from high school, as well as scholarships for transfer students who are transferring to the school from another college or university. In addition, the university offers several scholarships specifically for international students, whether they are first-year or transfer students. Along with these scholarships, there are also additional scholarships that are offered by various academic departments and colleges at the University of Iowa.

The Iowa Heritage Award is for non-resident students entering the university who have a parent, grandparent, step-parent, legal guardian or grandparent who graduated from the university. The scholarship has a value of $1,500 and is renewable. The deadline to apply for the spring semester is December 7th and the deadline to apply for the summer and fall semester is May 4th.

The Iowa Community College Transfer Academic scholarship is for students who transfer to the university from a community college in Iowa and who have earned 30 semester hours by the time of their application. The value of this scholarship is $1,000 and is renewable. There are 35 awards available based upon highest grade point average. Applications must be submitted by October 1st for the spring semester and by March 1st for the summer or fall semester.

The Presidential Scholarship Program consists of two award tiers. The top twenty candidates who receive the Presidential Scholarship as well as the Old Gold Scholarship will receive a combined value of $13,000 per year for a total of up to four years and $52,000. As many as 350 applicants in the second candidate tier will be awarded the Old Gold Scholarship, worth $3,000 per year for up to four years. Both of these scholarships require applicants to have an ACT composite score of at least 30 or a combined SAT critical reading and math score of at least 1330. Candidates must also have a GPA of at least 3.8. The deadline to apply for fall is the prior December.

The Dean Gerhard Loewenberg Scholarship is for the top-ranking alternate candidate in the Presidential Scholarship competition who is also majoring in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences programs. The value of this scholarship ranges between $1,000 and $2,500. This is a one-time scholarship award for first-year students only. It is not renewable and only one award will be given.

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Excellence Award is for selected Old Gold Scholars who major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. This scholarship is worth between $1,000 and $2,000. There are five awards available. These University of Iowa scholarships grants are not renewable.

With the sheer volume of scholarships and grants awarded each year, prospective students should take a closer look at the University of Iowa as their future college of choice. With 1500 annual UOI scholarships given out; student chances just got better.

St. Andrews Scholarships

It is widely considered to be an acceptable alternative to either Oxford or Cambridge, both considered amongst the top colleges in the world. Because of the general prestige of the institution and its ability to turn out some of the world’s best scholars, the cost of the University of St. Andrews can be expensive. Fortunately in the past couple of decades the university has opened its doors making available a St. Andrews Scholarship for deserving students from a diverse background. Especially strong with regards to prestige is the University of St. Andrews standing in the international community. The university is widely regarded as being a top destination for students coming in from other countries to attend school at St. Andrews, and as a result it should not be too surprising that a number of St. Andrews scholarships have been established to meet this need.

Amongst the international St. Andrews Scholarships available is the Chevening Scholarship Program which is specifically designed to fund international students who are attending study in the United Kingdom to get their post-graduate degrees. All applicants will need to be studying at the graduate level with strong academic performance, be interested in returning to their home country to help develop their people, be able to speak English well and be able to express clearly how their studies will help benefit their home country. This St. Andrews college scholarship covers the cost of student visas and general academic fees. Further costs for living expenses, travel and book needs are covered as well. All application material for the St Andrews scholarship are due at different times depending on country of origin. The Croatian Chevening program just opened not that long ago and, as an example of a standalone deadline, must have all materials turned in by April 3.

Another university scholarship offered from St. Andrews specifically focusing on women, is the Academic Awards to Women for Doctoral Research. This womans scholarship gives out from 1,000 pounds up to 3,000. In order to be eligible students must be females, be going to school for a post-graduate degree full-time, and all additional tuition due must be able to be paid. Though this program does not offer as much as the Chevening St. Andrews scholarship program, it does cut a decent amount of money out of the overall cost of a post-graduate degree, and students would be foolish not to try for a chance. All application materials are due no later than March 26 of a given year.

The University of St. Andrews School of Medicine provides a university scholarship through the Danuta Richardson Medical Program. This fantastic program covers a student’s full amount of tuition costs while also providing a 12,000 pound yearly stipend for up to three years of education. Because the program is open to exceptional candidates who may begin school at different times, this St. Andrews scholarship has no set deadline and students should contact the medical department directly for full details. That being said, students are expected to have an exceptional record and be interested in research pertaining to biophotonics, immunology, virology, cancer biology, neuroscience, molecular genetics or health psychology.

Every year Wingate St. Andrews scholarships are awarded, largely to post doctoral students, to those looking to continue their research and education. This medical scholarship is designed to fund all of or part of a research project, depending on a projected budget. In order to be eligible for this St. Andrews Scholarship students will need to be residing in and a citizen of the United Kingdom. Citizens of other EU countries may be eligible to apply if they have been residents of the UK for at least three years. All applicants must be over the age of 24 and be able to show proof of financial need. The deadline for this program is February 1.

They can give up to $5000 to 700 applicants a year. Applicants must be Pell Grant recipients. This will tell the program that they are in need of help with a scholarship. They must be of great academic standard. They offer these scholarships for international students because they feel we need more business and industry leaders with different ethnic backgrounds. This surely makes the world a more balanced place.

The Knowledge Exchange Institute is another Belgium scholarship that you can apply for. The student must be studying in international business, law, finance, as well as culture, arts and language. These awards are in between $500 to $1000. The main criteria are outstanding student academics.

Some of the other Belgium scholarships are Georges Jules Joyaux Memorial Scholarships, Forest Akers Scholarships and MSU Federal Credit Union scholarships. There are these and many more that can help you study at least a semester in Belgium.

There is also the Belgium Govt. Scholarships from External Scholarship Division Ministry of Human Resource and Development. This is offered to Indian students from foreign countries. It is offered to students who are post graduate and doctoral studies. These are studies in things like Irrigation Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Nucleic Acid, Protein Chemistry, Microbiology and several more. Students must be of an Indian background from India. They must be able to speak and write in English. There are many other requirements too that must be looked at closely.

You must be accepted or enrolled in a Belgium University to be qualified to apply for scholarships in Belgium. Some of the Belgium scholarships for international students are for low income students applying. Some are based on academic and experience. There are different qualifications on all of the scholarships in Belgium.
