Scholarships and Grants from Impact Teen Drivers

Below are truly awesome scholarships & grants from Impact Teen Drivers which have an April deadline. These are some student aid awards our staff felt was VERY worthy of writing about because they are so meaningful in today’s society.

It’s something that can affect any family who has teenagers that are now able to drive. This is when the most driving accidents happen, when newbie teenagers get behind the wheel of a car for the first year of driving a motor vehicle.

It’s no small wonder why auto insurance rates are so outrageously high on this age group; it’s simply because an extraordinary amount of driving accidents occur.

The Impact Teen Drivers scholarships and grants call awareness to this major problem in today’s society simply by sponsoring a contest that could ingeniously lower these types of occurrences from happening for future teenage drivers.

They have also designed their scholarships grants program in such a way that it naturally gets the word out to as many as possible via video about the distractions teenage drivers face.

About Impact Teen Drivers Scholarships & Grants Program

Did you know being a distracted, or reckless teen driver is the number one killer of teenagers in america? We didn’t know this but now we do, and we are glad we know it. Parents with teenagers must talk with their newly driving teenagers and let them know about this fact.

    It could save their life’s!

You must be a legal US resident to apply and between 14 -22 years old enrolled as full-time students in an accredited educational institution such as college, trade school, middle or high school.

Impact Teen Drivers are trying to spread the word about this very real danger teenagers face so as to prevent any more fatal accidents from occurring in this age group.

If you love creating video, you will surely love what you must do to submit your original work for this scholarship grant program. You simply have to create video highlighting solutions to the dangers of being distracted while driving from such things as texting, talking on the phone, putting on makeup, eating, or even showing off behind the wheel.

Drinking & driving entries are not allowed to be entered as a distraction, because this is not the focus of this contest. Although driving while intoxicated is highly dangerous to do, the above distractions mentioned earlier are to be displayed to show that they are equally as bad.

Many teenagers don’t seem to realize this, and this is precisely why reckless & distracted driving is the # 1 killer of teenagers today.

The video is to be 2 minutes in length and uploaded onto YouTube. Music is to be included in the video too.

Entries must also be submitted with a 1,200 max word essay.

The Different types of Cleveland State University Scholarships and Grants

There are three main scholarships grants that the school offers to the students. Students who are applying for the scholarships are however advised to at least complete their duly completed FAFSA forms so that they can be considered fully for all the other categories of financial aid available.

  • Michigan State University Scholarships and Grants are Second to None!

    Michigan State Scholarships
    Michigan State University Scholarships

Why should you consider attending Michigan State University located in East Lansing, Michigan?

The fact that Michigan State University scholarships and grants allow you to attend a college that is ranked 28th among all of the nation’s public universities, and has been recognized for ten years running as one of the top one hundred universities.

MSU was founded in 1855 and was the first university in the United States to start teaching scientific agriculture. When the school was founded it was actually named “the Agricultural College of the state of Michigan”. It would go on to have four more name changes over the years until in 1964 when the name was changed to Michigan State University.

The nickname of the sporting teams and the college residents is the Spartans. The school colors are green and white and the mascot is Sparty. The campus is located three miles east of Michigan and has 532 buildings of which 103 are academic buildings. There are 17,500 acres throughout the state of Michigan that are owned by the University Agricultural, Animal, and forestry research programs.

Michigan State University Scholarships and Grants

There are several different MSU scholarship programs to help the students who apply to Michigan State meet the financial obligation for attendance and every student that is admitted is considered for any of their scholarship programs which they might qualify for – by just applying to MSU.

Some of the available types of scholarship funding include:

Scholarships for academic merit achievements include fifteen separate scholarships ranging in monetary amounts from two hundred and fifty dollars to fifteen thousand dollars.

Scholarships that benefit people who meet specific criteria like 4H students and art students. All of the details about these funds and how to apply for them are readily available on the university webpages.

Scholarships that benefit the students who come from the state of Michigan. There are about fifty different Michigan State scholarships designed to help students who are residents of Michigan to attend MSU. The MS scholarships all have different qualifications for you to be able to apply for them so you will need to browse through them all and see which ones you qualify and should apply for. Most of the qualifications have to do with the part of Michigan State you resided in and the high school that you attended.

Scholarships designed for students who are residents of states other than Michigan. There are numerous MSU scholarships set up to help students who lived out-of-state but want to attend MSU. Many of these scholarships are determined by where you lived and only residents of certain states will be eligible for them. There are also some of the scholarships that are intended to benefit the students who are from another country. Most non-American pupils do not qualify for scholarships, but many of these are designed to be beneficial to them.

Scholarships for students that transfer to MSU from another university. These MS scholarships are designed to help students who are already enrolled in another university or college and want to transfer to Michigan State University.

*There are also applications for Federal student aid available at the web pages dedicated to MSU.

The counselors at the university will be more than willing to work with you to help you discover what financial programs you might qualify for and what other alternatives are available if you do not qualify for them. Other than Michigan State University scholarships and grants, there are student work programs and private loans available to help pay your expenses.

The campus is inviting and the staff is dedicated to helping the new student and the returning student alike. You will find that at MSU you are not just one of several thousand students who attend, but you will be one of a family of Spartans that are many thousand strong. Even after graduating your Spartan family can help you make connections into the job market.

Michigan State University scholarships may be one of the stronger scholarship and grant financial aid programs compared to any other university. Especially for low-income students who apply. Out of state students as well as in state students should apply to see what you can get – it never hurts to apply!

  • Unclaimed College Scholarships and Grants – When looking treat it like a job!

    unclaimed scholarships
    Unclaimed Scholarships

According to many educational student financial aid websites, when high school students set out to go to college their main concern is the payment of their college fee. The same concern is shared by their parents and even by students who are currently attending college. Odds are that they are all worried about paying their cost. It is a very rational and realistic fear given the state of the economy of these days in which the college tuition is increasing faster than the inflation rate.

People can help themselves in diminishing this burden by saving up for their college cost well beforehand; that is before the college application actually starts. The other way is to seek out the college scholarships and grants available for this sole purpose.

College scholarships are accessible to students so they can easily pay for a good education and not worry about its financing, but the quirk of it all is that students NEED to apply for these scholarships to get them, or else they will remain unclaimed, or simply unused.

Many students today are uninformed of the existence of these scholarship programs so they don’t bother to apply for them. And most pupils who do submit an application for such scholarship programs have perceived misconceptions about them, that they are not eligible for qualification as they don’t have the highest grades in their class and are not the best in the Sports they play. But these perceptions and assumptions can be many times wrong about these student college scholarships grants.

Many scholarship websites indicate that millions of dollars are just waiting to be used by regular college students as scholarships; they are not just for students who excel in their studies but for students who have good, unique personalities and hobbies and the passion to learn. All they have to do is apply for these unusual college scholarships.

Students don’t need to be superstars to be granted these unique scholarships, but they will definitely feel like one from the inside when they get awarded one such scholarship when they don’t have to pay for their college tuition themselves.

They just have to search for them online or else they shall remain unclaimed!

Unclaimed scholarships don’t only exist because the students are unaware of their existence, they are also unclaimed because students sometimes apply for these scholarships, and they qualify for them as they are suitable according to the criteria, they win the award, but they do not follow through with the procedure of accepting it which leads them to be unclaimed.

Information on ScholarshipsGrants.us tells that if such a scenario comes forth, the grant will immediately be given to another candidate who already applied for the scholarship and did not win it or the funds will go back to the scholarship program and will stand unclaimed.

Care and skepticism should be practiced while surfing the internet and browsing websites for scholarships and advertisements that offer to get you information on millions of dollars of unclaimed scholarships for a fee. They turn out to be frauds as the same information on unclaimed scholarships that they provide you on paper is mostly available for free on many other websites, in terms of how to find links of and how to tap into various sources for scholarship funds.

To pay for such information is a waste of your money!

The most significant thing is that you work hard to acquire scholarships for your college tuition, and for that you need to apply for many unclaimed, or unknown scholarships. If one doesn’t work out for you then maybe some others will, BUT you need to keep searching the internet and APPLYING for college scholarships and grants which will be a great help in paying a large sum of money for your college education.

No one is going to just hand over the money to you for your college tuition and fees just because it was lying around unused. The best way to go about it is to apply for every scholarship that you can which is in your eligibility range. You need to understand that all this work needs a lot of effort and time and that is how you can make the most of unclaimed scholarships.

Work at it like a job to get the best results!

    Hospice Scholarships for Healthcare

The United Hospice Foundation Scholarships Program was specifically created for the purposes of helping to defray the cost of nursing school for residents of Georgia and nearby states who intend to work in long-term care or hospice. Students with goals of attending pharmacy school and later helping those in long-term care or hospice also qualify for the UHF scholarship.

The program also provides financial assistance to students attending rehab school for the purposes of entering occupational therapy, speech therapy, or physical therapy. Scholarship recipients receive assistance with the cost of books and tuition. In addition to residents of Georgia, legal residents of North Carolina, Florida and South Carolina also qualify for the rehab scholarships.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need to qualify for the nursing scholarships. One of the approved courses must be completed through Pruitt University. Each disability related scholarship has a value of $1,000. One-half of the scholarship payment will be made for the fall semester and one-half will be made for the spring semester. The United Hospice scholarships are renewable upon application.

The UHF was originally founded in 1998 through the generosity of patients, families, and corporate donors. United Hospice, Inc. is the largest hospice provider in the state of Georgia. The foundation is located in Norcross, Georgia and has a mission of promoting quality healthcare by providing scholarship opportunities for pharmacy, rehab, and nursing students.

The Foundation also works toward promoting Christian spirituality for individuals residing or working in a healthcare setting. Offering the disability scholarships are one way of providing this type of support for future professionals in the long-term or hospice care setting.

UHF places a specific focus on helping families on promoting proper planning for the end of life from both a spiritual and practical basis while also assisting with bereavement care for individuals who have suffered a loss. Studies have shown that families that discuss options for health care while they are still healthy have a greater chance of receiving the treatment and care they desire when they do reach the end of life.

This is precisely why United Hospice Foundation specializes in raising public awareness and understanding of Advance Directories and the hospice philosophy. The Foundation is also focusing on providing individuals with the tools and information they need to make their own informed decisions about the choices that are right for them at the end of life.

Following the death of a loved one or family member, the Foundation also offers support and comfort for families through Support Groups, Peer Counseling, and other special programs. Those individuals who tap into the resource offered by the Foundation are able to make the death experience a celebration of life rather than a painful, fearful process.

The Neil L. Pruitt, Sr., Dorothy Shull, Coy Williamson, and Robin W. Bryson UHF scholarships are just one way the Foundation hopes to increase awareness of the need for hospice and long-term care solutions. All UHF disability related scholarship applications must be received by no later than June 30th to be considered.

    scholarships and grants
    Getting College Scholarships and Grants

Getting all the scholarships and grants you can get from the college of your choice is the ultimate goal from every student trying to get his/her share of student financial aid. You must make very sure that you are applying for all the student aid that colleges have to offer including there very own financial aid products which they have exclusively themselves. If you don’t you are selling yourself short and then will be responsible in paying whatever the school does not.

Better them to pay then you!

How can you be sure that you get to apply for all you should? The best way is to speak with the FinAids office at your college and ask them very directly. Whether it’s scholarships, grants, work-study programs or other specific monies the school has to offer such as scholarships for disabilities or scholarships grants for low-income families, you must apply to it!

Work study and scholarships and grants

Work-study is a great way to pay for your college too, and always should be applied to!

    Why?

Many colleges have work-study tailored to the students field of study and time availability. In other words they make it very easy for students to work their hours very easily. You may be able to do your college homework or study while working. This is a common theme with many work-study programs, so do not look at this as just working a separate job. The two sometime blend together seamlessly.

Large colleges may offer large scholarships grants and student aid

There are colleges you will want to attend but you know they’re expensive. If you find out their college scholarships grants, student aid programs then you may be able to pay some or all of it no matter what the yearly price is. Sometimes gig expensive schools sometime give large financial aid packages to their students – but not all!

Be flexible to get grants and scholarships from colleges!

Some colleges are known as being stingy with student aid, while others as being wildly generous at times. You have to look for it diligently. If you are set on going to a particular college, then you are at their whim as to what student aid programs including their scholarships and grants they have to offer. If you are flexible as to where you will be attending school, then you have more of a chance of getting what you are looking for – which is more student financial aid monies to help pay for your college!

Example of getting scholarships grants from college

Let me give you an example that comes as a surprise to most reading this right now and it’s 100% true and accurate. Princeton University in New Jersey, considered to be among the most elite schools in the country has one of the best college scholarships and grants programs today because 59% of their undergraduate population at Princeton receives financial aid. The average aid package at Princeton  is $35,500. The school’s annual tuition bill is $37,000.

Need we say more about this topic!
