West Virginia Promise Scholarships Grants Program

If you are attending high school in West Virginia the WV PROMISE scholarship program provides West Virginia high school graduates a scholarship to a state college or university in West Virginia or an equivalent amount to an in-state private college. A whopping $42,000,000 is given out every year making these awards very attainable – if you apply! They are available to home schooled children as well as college students too (renewal). These March scholarship application deadline awards can be as high as $4700.00.

Kohl s Scholarship Program

Many college scholarships are geared for high school or college students. Kohl s Corporation really cares for kids, because they have opted to take a unique Kohl’s scholarship approach to recognize young people who are active in their communities. Through the Kohl’s Kids Who Care Scholarship Program; 100 youths aged 6 to 18 have a nice opportunity to receive recognition for their community involvement and contributions. Awards are from $1,000 to $10,000

Copyright Awareness Scholarships Grants

The Music Publishers Association and the National Association for Music Education sponsor this unusual award. Here’s how it works. The NAME is looking for students to submit original creative videos that will be used to educate their peers on the importance of intellectual property and copyright law. The Copyright Awareness Scholarships range from $2,000 to $5,000. The video a student would submit would be from 30 seconds to 3 minutes in length. This March scholarship sounds like it would be fun to make!

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship offers a financial grant for up to 4 years amounting to $7,500 annually for students who attend a 4-year university or college of their choice and is directed towards minorities. This award also will give continued guidance for the winner throughout his higher education to ensure future success. There’s more than meets the eye to this financial prize!

Go Daddy.ME Scholarship

The Go Daddy.Me internet scholarship offers $10,000 to ten select applicants. Students will need more than decent grades and good test scores to win these financial awards. They will need a well written description of how the Internet has impacted them since Go Daddy is all about the internet.
This award is not as hard to get as most students are lead to believe. Creativity is the key!

Castle Ink Paperless Scholarship

These $1,000 March scholarships have a recycling theme. The purpose of this grant is to promote awareness around the importance of recycling. The Castle Ink scholarship wants you to be more recycling conscious at all times. (I like this and wish more scholarships were based on this theme also!) Students will need to describe how they reduce, reuse, and recycle by way of social media.

SanDisk Scholarship Program with March deadlines

This SanDisk STEM scholarship program has financial aid from $2500 to $10,000 given to students in the in pursuit of careers in engineering and computer science. High school seniors, college freshman, sophomore, or juniors may apply and must be full-time undergraduates and have past demonstrated leadership and/or entrepreneurial interests.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program

The main objective of the program is to financially assist US undergraduate students planning to study abroad. The Benjamin Gilman scholarships are provided to those applicants who are planning to apply or have been accepted into a study abroad program recognized by the student’s accredited institution of higher education in the US. Those applicants majoring in only a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) program can only apply. Awards range from $3,000 to $5,000, and tons of these scholarships are given out yearly which allows more students a better chance at winning one.
