How to Find Unknown Architecture Scholarships

Architecture Scholarships

If you have a dream of designing state-of-the-art buildings that will still be standing hundreds of years from now, and you have a true interest in angles and geometry, you will probably make a great architect. If this sounds like something that you are interested in, you need to know how to find some unknown architecture scholarships to help pay for your education. These little known scholarships are abundant once you discover the places that sponsor them.

Begin your search for these unknown architecture scholarships by filling out and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA. This is available through the financial aid office at the school you will be attending. Ask the financial aid officer specifically about these types of architectural scholarships that are offered through the College of Design at your school.

Once you have done this, you also need to check with the American Institute of Architecture Students. Through this organization, you can apply for the AIAS/AIA Trust Scholarship for Emerging Professionals, the American Architectural Foundation Scholarship, the ZGF Scholarship Program, the Simpson Strong-Tie Company, Inc. Student Scholarship Program, the Student Research Fellowship in Accessible Transportation, the Rieger Graham Prize, the CAFM Scholarship Program, the Rotch Traveling Scholarship, the BSA Research Grants in Architecture, The Association of Women in Architecture Foundation Scholarship, and the Gensler Scholarship.
